So I’ve never actually seen the movie, and had no conception of what it’s about. I mostly put this on the list because of Phillipa Soo. Apparently I watched the LA version, whatever that means.
Having no idea about the plot, I thought it was really cute! It was funny, and I liked how creative they were with the set and storytelling. I really enjoyed how they reused the same few people to play all the parts. Towards the beginning I did think about how nice it would be to have some positive homeschool representation in fiction, but it wasn’t mean or rude, just funny. Overall I don’t think it was earth-shattering, but I enjoyed watching it.
