I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this movie before, but I had very little memory of it so it must have been a long time. It’s sort of incidentally a musical, and self-aware, with a character pointing out how weird it was that people were able to just start singing together. There wasn’t actually much music. But I’m still counting it.
Enchanted is definitely a cute and lighthearted movie. It was fun seeing Disney poke fun at itself, and it had a nice happy ending. Also, I spent basically the whole time wishing I owned Giselle’s curtain dresses. They’re so pretty and now I want to make some for myself (but not out of curtains).
I’m doing training for my new job tomorrow, which means I’m going to have a lot less time on my hands to do musicals and everything else I should be doing. I definitely like doing Musical Theater Month, but I’m also sort of looking forward to it being over for the year.
