MTM Day 21: My Fair Lady

I listened to the soundtrack my first year, I think, but because I’d never seen the movie it was pretty confusing. The music by itself is alright, and I have very vivid memories of where I was (the dining room) and what I was doing (a watercolor painting). But I had no idea what was going on.

Now that I’ve seen the movie, I’m not sure what to think of it. I know Dr. Higgins was supposed to be a jerk, but man was he a jerk. And he was just allowed to be, in the end. Also the movie was so looooong. Not bad, but it stressed me out a little bit because it’s my first full day at work and I had other things to do before I left. That’s not the movie’s fault, though.

Anyway, it was alright. Buuuut I probably won’t watch it again for some time.
