This job requires me to utilize a high level of attention to detail to fill prescriptions, take patient histories, ensure treatment and care plan accuracy, and make sure client questions are answered. I’m also a trained customer service representative covering phone and email, billing and payments.

Shipping Coordinator, Social Media Manager

I work remotely with a small independent publishing team to manage shipping labels and supporter information. The team ran a successful Kickstarter campaign of over 130 backers in the fall of 2019 to fund their most recent publication (which I also have a piece of writing in), and I was brought on the following spring. I built spreadsheets to keep track of contributor and artist information, I handle all the addresses and create shipping labels for all physical packages, and I post listings to their online store and write item descriptions. I also manage the team’s social media and write monthly updates, and I wrote all content for their website.

In this position, I learned the entire supply line of a pizza—I took orders over the phone, I prepared pizzas to order specification under pressure and time restraints, I packaged pizzas once they came out of the oven, and I served them to diners. I also did prepared dough for later use, cleaned, and washed dishes. I was offered a shift lead role very quickly, but ultimately had to end my employment here when my CSR job at VCA Lewis, which I was working at the same time, took up all my evenings.

I worked as a receptionist in two branches of a local vet’s office, boarding facility and pet store. I took calls, booked appointments, took payments, assisted customers in the store, and communicated with veterinary staff. Between May and August, I was also assistant manager of the pet store at one branch, where I was in charge of taking stock, ordering all pet store supplies, receiving orders and putting items on display.

I spent two months interning at a nursery in 2017. While there I acted as a teacher,
leading story time and songs and teaching children ages 2-5 about letters and
numbers, as well as playing with them during free play. I also assisted in running the nursery’s social media accounts.
